Homeschool Day at Monterey Bay Aquarium

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a homeschool day each year
where home schoolers get in free. Thanks to some of my new awesome home school Mom friends I was invited in a group of four Mom's and total of ten kids between us.
We had a blast and the kids had an okay time too.
Mid way we came across a home school science center where we had limited time, but were able to make really awesome sharks that were a hit.
The aquarium had a phenomenal seahorse exhibit an Parker freaked out when he learned that daddy sea horse's give birth and really flipped his lid when he saw a video of it.
Parker: "AHHHH...he's squirting baby's out of his belly button"
Let's just hope that does not confuse him too much, right?
The boys have known the other kids through church for awhile, but the Mom's and I finally had a chance to get to know each other, in the we have 10 kids running around kind of way.
All in all it was a long, wonderful, new, exciting kind of day and I am so very happy we choose this for Parker.
PS Please tell me how awesome the jellyfish reflection pictures are. They blew my mind!

I love this team work!

Two Parade Day

The Halloween Parade Day came and went

It started at Cohen's school and ended at Parker's old school (we still attend of Fridays and for the "big" events) There was some costume changes and running around, but it worked.

First the Tigger's did their thing and I got an awesome picture of Cohen and Miss Helen, his Pre-K teacher who is the BEST!
Then off to Parker's school where Cohen insisted he get changed into his Odie costume.
Parker was a little bitter Mom forgot the pillow for his Garfield tummy, but I told him he should just be happy Mommy remembered it was Halloween at all.
Enjoy!
