Parker studying perimeter and measurement

This is Parker's 50 states Postcard collection
Just learned North Carolina has wild horses that run on the beach.
Parker is taking a public speaking class that meets once a month.
This month they will speak on what makes them happy.
With our morning devotional I added writing in a Gratitude Journal.
So, far it's a lot of talk about Garfield and fencing

We do our "normal" lesson with our text curriculum for math, but I have added beginning Geometry and memorizing math facts as well.
In our math station there are plenty of games, but the kids simply love anything with a manipulative.
Today each shape had a point system, hexagons being the most. You build a picture and then add up all your points whoever has the most points wins.
