SURPRISE Disney day!!!! We got a key into the happiest place on earth yesterday. Some good friends that work at Disney (Parker's new what I wanna be when I grow up dream) hooked us up yesterday and got us into the park. Thanks J.T. and Liz!!!! We had a BLAST!!!!!
Parker did the Jedi Training and fought Darth Vader as Cohen looked on jumping out of his two year old drawers wanting to be on stage with brother. They have a new Indiana Jones show and the boys dug that. We waited in line to ride the new Toy Story ride, but 30 min into the wait it broke and we skipped it to see the Pixar Parade. Have I said lately I LOVE DISNEYLAND! The smell, the look on the boys face when Indiana Jones comes close or seeing Buzz Light year "for real", Cohen being so tired he nods off in his stroller (a never happens thing) and the simple carefree feeling of having no limits on your adventure. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Just another CRAZY night hangin with the Black Eyed Peas. Andrew had an awesome work event so we thought we would pretend we are in our 20's catch a limo into LA and attend. It was so much fun and the food was pure heaven. The event was the BET after party hosted by Remy, Geffen, A&M, and interscope records, so needless to say there were a lot of "I'm kinda a big deal" people about. Parker got a kick out of the limo and asked if we could take one to Carrie's important baby shower party this Sat. Cohen snapped me back to reality this am by putting his feet in a dirty diaper. Hey that's just like dinner at Mr. Chows. All said and done dinner was great company was laughs and it's nice to get out of the house every now and again to see what the "others" are doing.
But I don't mind cleaning up a bit of poop every now and again to appreciate time away.

Birds and the Bees

So far this spring we had a birds nest in our fern on the porch. Four blue speckled eggs appeared and we watched the circle of life through our living room window. We saw all four birds fly from the nest for the first time and the boys were in natures capture. Then yesterday after a weekend on the slip and slide (a double slip and slide by the way and it kicks butt for racing) I hung the contraption on over the tall lawn chairs to dry. Tue afternoon I thought I would wrap it up and save it for another scorcher. That is when I found a bee hive on the back of the lawn chair. A BEE HIVE you say YES A BLEEPIN BEE HIVE I add. HUGE!!!!!! Now the fire department must come and remove the thing and send my little honey making friends back in to "nature" NOT my backyard "nature". Anyhow, check this junk out.

Check out my you tube of this junk FUNNY!!!!! Make sure to watch both though

Summer Fun

Wow, so Summer is upon us here in Long Beach. Mothers Day was awesome and Andy's Birthday was a weekend celebration with family and his traditional ice cream cake. We took a fun Sat trip to Balboa and rented a boat with the boys and a picnic. Sounds relaxing right? Well Cohen threw two water bottles in the ocean and Parker stepped on my bare feet 632 times. Hey memories were made. We saw a seal and LOTS of pretty boats with Jay-Z oiling up some half naked ladies or was it retired mid life crisis men slathering trophy wives with SPF 75.... I can't remember. Anyhoo, enjoy the pictures.

Crazy Monkeys

Cohen and I went to the Zoo today and saw the crazy monkeys. He LOLOLOLOVES the Zoo. Today the famous quote is

"Mommie me no like the loud Cazy Monkeys"

SOOO funny. Then he hid behind a bench and crapped his diaper. Take the good with the bad I suppose. All part of my world... they run at you as if to give you a hug and a snuggle then they squeeze your neck and bite your shoulder.

"me no like those cazy Kiddies"

What a Monday!

This is why a regular Monday morning is a blessing for the Mother and the child of a stay at home Mom. All the struggles, sleeplessness, uneasy feelings, frustration and sometimes disappointment that the "other" life you don't have OR NEED is passing you by. In one second of a random Monday time STOPS and MELTS. I am SO blessed, grateful and fulfilled. I AM A MOM!!!!!
