Birds and the Bees

So far this spring we had a birds nest in our fern on the porch. Four blue speckled eggs appeared and we watched the circle of life through our living room window. We saw all four birds fly from the nest for the first time and the boys were in natures capture. Then yesterday after a weekend on the slip and slide (a double slip and slide by the way and it kicks butt for racing) I hung the contraption on over the tall lawn chairs to dry. Tue afternoon I thought I would wrap it up and save it for another scorcher. That is when I found a bee hive on the back of the lawn chair. A BEE HIVE you say YES A BLEEPIN BEE HIVE I add. HUGE!!!!!! Now the fire department must come and remove the thing and send my little honey making friends back in to "nature" NOT my backyard "nature". Anyhow, check this junk out.

Check out my you tube of this junk FUNNY!!!!! Make sure to watch both though

Summer Fun

Wow, so Summer is upon us here in Long Beach. Mothers Day was awesome and Andy's Birthday was a weekend celebration with family and his traditional ice cream cake. We took a fun Sat trip to Balboa and rented a boat with the boys and a picnic. Sounds relaxing right? Well Cohen threw two water bottles in the ocean and Parker stepped on my bare feet 632 times. Hey memories were made. We saw a seal and LOTS of pretty boats with Jay-Z oiling up some half naked ladies or was it retired mid life crisis men slathering trophy wives with SPF 75.... I can't remember. Anyhoo, enjoy the pictures.

Crazy Monkeys

Cohen and I went to the Zoo today and saw the crazy monkeys. He LOLOLOLOVES the Zoo. Today the famous quote is

"Mommie me no like the loud Cazy Monkeys"

SOOO funny. Then he hid behind a bench and crapped his diaper. Take the good with the bad I suppose. All part of my world... they run at you as if to give you a hug and a snuggle then they squeeze your neck and bite your shoulder.

"me no like those cazy Kiddies"

What a Monday!

This is why a regular Monday morning is a blessing for the Mother and the child of a stay at home Mom. All the struggles, sleeplessness, uneasy feelings, frustration and sometimes disappointment that the "other" life you don't have OR NEED is passing you by. In one second of a random Monday time STOPS and MELTS. I am SO blessed, grateful and fulfilled. I AM A MOM!!!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 2008
Parker took me to the Valentines Ball at his school and was the perfect gentleman. Cohen is getting SO big and as you can see does everything Parker does. Now if only we could get him to the potty! Life is full around here. Parker joined the Science Fair and decided the BEST experiment is ... out of three diffrent kinds of Bubble Gum, which blows the biggest bubble. Thank God we have dental coverage let me tell ya!!!! Parker also recently won a Patriot award at his school. That means he is a good student and is really trying hard. A week later he had his first brush with the law when his teacher came down on him. I guess Parker and two other boys thought it was a GREAT idea to hit eachother in the "privates". OOOHHHHH yer gonna get it!!!!!!! What an ingenious idea, pain and punishment rolled into one. C'mon boys atleast think of something a bit more creative. Anyhoo, he leaned his lesson if ya know what I mean! Where are my princess dresses and lipgloss? Instead crotch punching? Oi'!
Well may love shower you and yours
WE LOVE YOU
Happy V-Day

Happy New Yizear

HAPPY 2008

Just A Blogger

A STOCKBRIDGE XMAS!!!

This is what Christmas looked like in our house. Laughter and SOOOOO much fun this year. We stayed home FINALLY and took each other in until finally it was time for reality again. Andy got the drum set he has been wishing/begging for seven and a half years later and no more quiet garage. Parker got his bike and new razor scooter. I don't have the mommy guts to put him on a skate board. Andy already wants him to ride his new bike with a mouth guard. Cohen got his little Einsteins Rocket Ship and all I hear is Annie and June, Annie and June. Mommy got the hard wood floor vacuum (you know you are OLD and a MOM when you ask for a vacuum for Xmas) and the handbag I wanted. SOOOOOOOOOO BLESSED!!!!!!!!!! Not just with STUFF, but with each other. I know cliche, but SO true. It was SO sad when Andy had to go back to work and Parker to school (kinda), but the new year had to come and new goals and a fresh start was to be made.
